Masonry walls not only delineate a space but can offer useful seating or a spot for a colorfully planted urn. Piers and pillars signal entry points and like entries themselves set the tone for a site. Typically masonry features are reflective of the home or setting, but sometime our planners purposely make them their own style to better define a space. More than any other hardscape element, masonry features offer a variety of details, construction techniques and budgets. |
